Both companies specialise in technologies for mechanical cleansing and therapy of wastewater.
“Thanks to the acquisitions, we are ready to offer our prospects an even wider range of solutions,” said Oliver Hermes, president and CEO of the Wilo Group. “We are constantly following our strategic development from an professional for heating functions to a holistic options provider for all functions within the transport, use and therapy of water and wastewater.”
The two firms shall be integrated into Wilo’s Water Treatment Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
However, FSM Frankenberger and WSM Walower stay independent and can proceed to be run by native managers.
“Wilo’s market and application expertise and the 2 companies’ special options are the best combination to exploit new alternatives in present enterprise segments and collectively develop new markets,” stated Dr Patrick Niehr, a member of the chief board and chief change officer of the Wilo Group.
