Who is Salim Haffar?
I am a citizen of Morocco and France. In 2010, I graduated from the University of Lyon, Department of International Trade. I decided to settle in Turkey 10 years ago on account of the experiences I gained in varied countries during and after my education life. I took part in large worldwide tasks in numerous sectors in Turkey. I began working at İ-MAK Gearbox eight years ago with the will to carry my curiosity in industry and expertise to skilled life. What is EuroTrans? Could you inform us about its importance in the sector and its work?

You have an active position in the industry on a worldwide scale. Can you consider the situation of the power transmission sector in Turkey?
In addition to working in the energy transmission sector for a few years, I can say that our industry has a very dynamic construction in Turkey, as both the President of EuroTrans and a person who takes an energetic function in the Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (MIB). However, despite this dynamic structure, I think that we’ve a protracted method to go to be able to attain a competitive position on the planet as a sector.
As İ-Mak Gearbox, we’re working for the development of the sector in Turkey with the duties we now have taken in both EuroTrans and MIB.
