Atlas Copco to accumulate Lewa and Geveke

Atlas Copco has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and complete metering systems. The firm employs around 1200 individuals and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has an extended tradition of supporting prospects and creating leading industrial flow expertise for efficient, precise and secure dealing with of fluids,” stated Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are constructing our presence and expertise offering inside constructive displacement pumps.”

Geveke, which was founded in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers advanced and sophisticated course of pump installations. The firm is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 employees and had revenues of approximately €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has robust engineering functionality, offering full industrial pump solutions from concept to commissioning,” said Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is predicted to be accomplished through the second quarter 2022.
ไดอะแฟรม ซีล of the acquired companies will have its base in the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller half will be part of the Service division inside Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
